Tami is a very established dance instructor who earned her reputation by co-directing and choreographing for Bonnie Siscoe School of Dance for over 25 years. She is known for her Broadway style dance productions. In 2004 her "Lion King" production was invited to perform at Miller Outdoor Theater. Tami has numerous choreography awards from various national dance competitions. Her students and routines have been dance scholarship recipients and various title winners such as 1996 Dance Masters of America Miss Dance Texas, Teen Miss Dance,(1st runner up), Miss Dance 1999 (2nd runner up), and many Miss Headliner title winners. Tami is certified to teach ballet, tap, and jazz by, D.M.A, (Dance Masters of America) and has a certification by G.A.T. (Gymnastic association of Texas) to coach gymnastics. She has attended Broadway Dance Center in New York and Millennium Dance Complex in L.A. and studied with top Dancer/ choreographers in the business. She continues her studies by attending national dance conventions. |

Kassi, daughter of Tami, trained for over 19 years at Bonnie Siscoe School of Dance. She choreographed her first solo at age twelve and at age thirteen choreographed two more numbers which received the highest medal. Received 3rd runner up for "Best Dancer of the Year" (IDC) at age 15. At age sixteen, Kassi choreographed the "Teen Ms. Headliner" title winner routine for Britany Gilman and received "Best Young Choreographer" award that same year, at Dance Olympus. Instruction from Tremaine Dance Conventions, Pulse on Tour, Jump, Monsters of Hip Hop, Broadway Dance Center in NYC, Millennium Dance Center in L.A. Guest danced for Exclamation Dance Company. At age 19 was asked to choreograph a hip hop routine for the Dobie High School Lariaettes Drill Team, and a Jazz routine for their officers. Both numbers have received over all first place, and the hip hop won first place internationally. The following year she choreographed for the Dobie officers, where they again placed first. At age 20, she danced for the Drivers Select grand opening for Deon Sanders. Hired to dance at former Yankees players' birthday party with Roger Clemens. Tried out for Texans Cheerleader and made it to finals but could not participate due to prior commitments to a dance competition. Performed at club "NEXT" as a freestyle dancer. Shadow Box Dancer for over 15 Houston area events. Recently choreographed multiple winning routines, special awards, and over all awards. Also danced for Haas Toyota. Trained in master classes by Misha Gabriel, Tony Testa, Gustavo Vargas, Doug Caldwell, Desiree Robins, Dorrell Martins, and Marty Dew. |
Kathy Young -- (Instructor) Kathy has been dancing since the age of three. For more than 10 years, she has instructed all levels of ballet, tap, and jazz. Her accomplishments include Colonel of the Dobie High School Lariaettes, Miss Dance 2nd runner up 1999, Miss Headliner 1999, with Tami as her choreographer, and Miss Kingwood Dance Classic. Along with dance teaching, Kathy is an elementary school teacher. |

Jennifer has been dancing for seventeen years now and teaches ballet, tap and jazz. She has competed at many competitions from a young age up until this year winning numerous awards. She played the part of Danny in "Grease", Shenzi the hyena in "Lion King", roles in "Chicago" and "The Wicked", and recently, Sandy in "Grease". All of these productions were choreographed by Tami Richardson. Jennifer also got the chance to dance in the Super bowl when it came to Houston in 2004 while Toby Keith, Willy Nelson, and Aerosmith performed. This year at competition she won a scholarship to the Nick and Mandy show in L.A. for her solo, and also won scholarship money to nationals in Orlando. Jennifer graduated from J. Frank Dobie and is planning on going to University of Houston to major in dance. She has loved dance from a very young age and plans to continue it as long as she can. Jennifer was just named "Dancer of the year" at UofH. |

Kirstyn trained at Bonnie Siscoe School of Dance for 13 years and at Dance Productions for 3 years. She is trained in Ballet, Tap, Jazz, and Hip Hop. She was a dance company member for many years. She has attended numerous Dance Conventions and Competitions throughout the years. Kirstyn is also the Office Manager for Dance Productions and teaches Ballet and Tap. She is the Dance Instructor for the 3-5 year olds and loves being a part of the staff and Dance Productions. Kirstyn is also a college student working on a degree in Education and plans to be an Elementary school Teacher. |
Cara South (Instructor)Cara trained at Bonnie Siscoe School of Dance for 9 years. She then followed Tami and Kassi to Dance Productions. Cara is well versed in all genres of dance. She danced competitively for 8 years. Cara graduated from Friendswood High school and is now performing professionally with the Dance Productions "Pro" group. We are excited to welcome Cara to our staff. |
Dorrell Martin (Instructor)Dorrell is founder of the jazz and contemporary program in New York City, LEON Dance Arts NY which is associated with LEON Contemporary Dance Company/NY, of which Martin is the Artistic Director. Mr. Martin, a native of Houston, TX, was the creator/director of the Jazz and Contemporary Program at the Joffrey Ballet School for the past 6 years. He is former Artistic Director of Houston Metropolitan Dance Company. Martin has a solid training and performance background. He was a soloist for the national and international touring company “A Few Good Men Dancin” and has danced in shows such as Aida, West Side Story, Lion King and Swing. Martin has also performed with many professional companies, including Arch Dance, Locke Contemporary Dance, Houston Grand Opera, Metropolitan Opera, and Richard Rivera’s PHYSUAL as well as Radio City’s Christmas Spectacular, just to name a few. He has performed in venues such as Jacob’s Pillow Dance, Joyce SoHo, Blaktino at BAAD in the Bronx, Riverside Theatre and American Dance Festival with some of New York’s emerging choreographers. Martin appeared on the talk show THE VIEW with singer Emma Bunton. He has performed with recording artists such as Jennifer Lopez, Pink, Black Eyed Peas, Rihanna and Debra Cox. He received Honorable Mention for Choreography at the World Jazz Congress in Washington D.C. 2000. In 2003, he founded Dorrell Martin Dance Fusion in Houston, TX, and the company made its international debut in Veracruz, Mexico, performing at the Festival Danza Cordoba. Martin attended the High School for the Performing Arts in Houston, TX and continued his training at the North Carolina School of the Arts, Paul Taylor School, Feld Ballet, Houston Ballet, The Alvin Ailey American Dance Center, EDGE Performing Arts Center in Los Angeles, New York State Summer Intensive with the New York City Ballet and with various schools and companies throughout Europe. Martin has taken his experiences of working with such notable artists/choreographers as Sean Curran, Daniel Ezralow, Kevin Wynn, Liz Imperio, Pattie Obey, Margo Sappington and Mat Eks among others, to explore and find his own |
Leisha KastnerMiss Kastner attended "Bonnie Siscoe School of Dance" for 8 years. She studied ballet, tap, jazz and hip hop. She moved to "Dance Productions" in 2006 and continued her dance education. Miss Kastner has taken classes from numerous top choreographers and performers in the industry. She has attended national dance conventions and competitions for the past 10 years. She has competed and won numerous national competitions. She has grown into a wonderful, sweet, caring instructor and a fantastic choreographer. "Dance Productions" is very excited to welcome her to our staff! |
Katie Crosson
TurnerKatie Crosson has danced for 23 years with an extensive background in ballet, jazz, tap, and contemporary. As a little girl she danced at a variety of different studios in the area. She later joined The Houston Met where she was in the Apprentice Company for 3 years, traveling all over to perform. Her Junior year of high school she became a member of the Friendswood High School Wranglerettes drill team as well as a member of the Elite dance ensemble “Dream“. Her senior year of high school she became Deputy Sheriff of the drill team. While on the drill team she competed in many competitions where she finaled and won top soloist. After graduating she attended Kilgore College as a member of the world famous Rangerettes. She also tried out and became a member of the special group Swingsters. She had the pleasure of performing at such places as the “Jingle Elf Thanksgiving Day Parade” in Chicago, Indy 500, Dallas Cowboys game, Cotton Bowl and many other places. After Kilgore she continued her dance instruction at Sam Houston State University and San Jacinto College South. Katie has instructed dance for 6 years. She has taught all ages and all different genres. She was a staff member for MA Dance for 4 years where she traveled all over the US teaching camps to high school students. She worked at “Bonnie Siscoe School of Dance” (Where Tami co directed for 25 years) for 4 years teaching ballet, tap, jazz, and contemporary. She also choreographed many solos for the junior and senior company as well as competition dances. Katie has a passion for dance and a passion for teaching. After becoming a new mommy to her adorable son “Jackson”, she is now ready to get back to teaching. Most of the “Dance Productions” senior company members have taken from Katie and all of “Dance Productions” staff are very excited to welcome her! |
Cece White Director of the national award winning, American Jazz Dance Company, Cece brings her expertise and experience to Dance Productions. Her students have gone on to pursue careers in and beyond dance and many of her students include professionals in New York, Los Angeles, Tokyo and more. She instructed several area dance instructors and we are honored to have her on staff! |
Teresa Muller A South-Eastern Michigan native, Teresa began dancing at the age of four. Although she always loved dancing, having gained experience in Ballet, Jazz, Hip Hop, Modern, Contemporary, Lyrical, Tap, Pointe, and African, she did not become serious about pursuing dance as a career until late in high school, when she began attending Mt. Zion School of Performing Arts in 2004; a dance studio based out of a Christian church. She spent four years dancing with Mt. Zion’s Elite Hip Hop Company and in 2006 she became apart of the teaching staff, educating the students in Hip Hop, Modern, and Jazz. Teresa has attended various dance intensives and conventions including workshops at River North Dance Chicago, Point Park University International Summer Dance, and serval years of study at Broadway Dance Center in New York City. All of these experiences have allowed the opportunities to learned from world renown choreographers such as Mia Michaels, Wade Robson, Mari Jo Irbe, Michelle Barber, Jeff Hancock and Lizzie MacKenzie. In January of 2010, Teresa traveled to Lima, Peru with Mt. Zion Church. She was given the opportunity to both choreograph and perform for the church’s band, Ashley Maria and Revo 12:2. Through two days of concerts filled with music and dance, the band members and dancers shared the love of God with audiences of over 5,000. In the spring of 2010, Teresa graduated with honors from Marygrove College in Detroit, Michigan, with a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Dance Performance under the direction of Jordeen Ivanov-Ericson on both academic and talent scholarship. Her time spent at Marygrove allowed her to work with acclaimed choreographers and company directors such as Ray Mercer, Kevin Iega-Jeff, and Tracy Pearson. Teresa’s own choreography was even asked to be presented at the 2010 American College Dance Festival in Athens, Ohio. Upon graduation, Teresa relocated to Dayton, Ohio to join both the Dayton Contemporary Dance 2nd Company and Fueled & Aflame Christian Dance Company. Teresa is about to embark on her first season as an Apprentice with Ad Deum Dance Company in Houston, Texas, and could not be more excited for the opportunity. |
Lynzy Lab Lynzy is a native Houstonian, and received the bulk of her training at the The Houston Metropolitan Dance Center. With 8 years of training already under her belt, she began dancing for their youth company "Met Too" at the age of 12 and was eventually inducted into the professional company at 17. Lynzy has taught and choreographed for several studios in the Greater Houston Area including The Met. She received the Gregory Heinz Scholarship Award from Broadway Theatre Project, which she has attended for the past 3 years. She has performed in Texas Contemporary Weekend, Pink! The musical, Choreographers x 6, and many festivals in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. |
